Mr Gregory O'Toole's private practice is based at the London Hand and Wrist Unit at the Wellington Hospital's Platinum Medical Centre, a short walk from Baker Street or St.John's Wood underground stations and (soon) at the London Bridge Hospital at 120 Old Broad Street.

Having trained in Oxford and Sydney,  Mr O'Toole then spent two years in Paris. At the renowned Institut de la Main (Hand Institute) he worked with world experts in the field of hand surgery. Since 2008 he has worked at the Royal Free Hospital as one of the lead surgeons in the Hand Trauma Unit where he assesses, operates and advises on the treatment of hundreds of patients a year with fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, and cuts and bruises of the hand, wrist and forearm.

Gregory O'Toole treats a wide variety of non-traumatic hand conditions including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Finger Contractures, Dupuytren's disease, Trigger Finger, Ganglions and Arthritis.

He treats musicians, athletes, surgeons and artists alike.  More often than not, chronic conditions do not require surgery. To optimise hand function in such cases, he works closely with Hand Therapists at the Wellington Hospital's "London Hand and Wrist Unit" whose expertise is world renowned.
