Cubital tunnel syndrome results from compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. Symptoms of numbness and tingling mainly the little and ring fingers are characteristic and may be associated with a weak grip and pain in the hand and arm. Symptoms may be worse when the elbow is flexed, while driving or on the phone, and are often worse also night.

Treatment is usually surgical in a simple 20 minute procedure performed under general anaesthetic.

Full recovery and a return to normal activities within weeks is the norm with the help of our expert Hand Therapists.
